The Lord Nelson in Trafalgar Street is one of Brighton's 'landmark' pubs. It is well-known and liked by many but is tucked away just off the tourist track. The pub is lively but with a friendly atmosphere and an 'olde worlde' feel.
We've been before and reports were good! They do Sunday Roasts but also a range of other dishes and 'Specials' for those who want something different or a bit lighter.
You can learn more about the pub from their website which is at: www.thelordnelsoninn.co.uk
The Lord Nelson is half way down Trafalgar Street if you're coming from the station. Equally, it's half way up if you're approaching from St. Peter's Church! So, there are loads of buses and it's easy to find!
The World Cup is on but not until 5 pm - we'll be gone by then!
See you at 'The Nellie'!
