It's June, and the sun is shining, so let's sit indoors with boxes on our faces

Hello again everyone!

The 2nd Wednesday of the month is rapidly approaching, and it's time for us to all get together, have a few beers, and play about with all things VR. This is open to everyone, regardless of whether you're a developer, or just interested in VR in general.

As always, if you have your own Rift, Hydra, Kinect, laptop, etc - please bring them along, there's always people who want to experience your favourite demos!

Along with the usual DK1's, Hydras, Kinects etc. running various demos, we will also have:

Nick Pittom (@redofpaw) will be showing the incredible Studio Ghibli scenes he recreated in VR, including the new My Neighbour Totoro demo. There's even a VR Catbus! If you haven't experienced these, you really need to. This could be of particular interest to anyone who's interested in how VR movies might work.

Sam Watts (@VR_sam) will be showing a demo of @Radial_G - a new multiplayer racing game for Oculus Rift, which is one of the best VR games I've played. You really have to play this, it's like a VR Wipeout!

If you have built something with Oculus and would like to show it off, let me know and I'll add it above.

We will once again be providing a beer on the house when you arrive - feel free to bring your own drinks to enjoy after that!

See you there!

Ace event! Big thanks to Iestyn for organising it and providing beer (and cigs!). I'm doing a similar event in Bristol on 29th July, if anyone happens to be in the area feel free to drop by.

Equally, if any of you are in Bristol for some reason feel free to drop by the Opposable Games office on Stokes Croft.

    See ya soon!
