Acoustic jam session. Bring your guitar etc. to play some music!

Bring your guitar (harmonica, ukele, bongos, violin or other acoustic instrument...) and any music you want to play e.g. chords, lyrics etc. If you are playing guitar, it would be useful if you could bring along a "capo" so we can be more versatile with changing key for the vocals...

Bring along any drinks or snacks you want for the evening.

My flat is in the building north of the Lidl store and near the roundabout. The entrance to the block is immediately behind the bus shelter. Any problems give me a ring [masked]).

There is a £1 cost per person for each of these session, payable on the evening. This is to cover the fee charged to me by "Meet up" to run these events (approx. £50 every 6 months).

A couple of suggested songs for this Wednesday...

"Man of constant sorrow" (Soggy bottom boys). I have uploaded the chords/tab/lyrics to the "files" folder along with three mp3 files with each of the vocal parts (my interpretation only - may be a bit flat in places). It would great if you could have a listen to the vocal parts so we can get the harmonies sorted.

Also, one we haven't done for a while... "Wild Wood" (Paul Weller) - chords/lyrics in the "files" folder (but probably several pages down).

As, ever, please bring along chords/lyrics for any songs you want to try out...
