• What we'll do
The beginning of November is traditionally the time of year when we remember those who have died. It is in the act of remembering that we honour them.
We shall create a sacred space in which to connect to those who have gone before us to whom we owe our existence, both those recently departed and also possibly those further back in the past, our remoter ancestors whether known or not. Through simple ritual, guided meditation and quiet contemplation we shall re-member and connect.
One day we shall be ancestors! We shall also take time to look forward therefore with the question as to what legacy we would like to leave behind us.
You may like to bring an object which has significance for you on the theme of the day, or you may find something on the day in the allotment itself.
There will be time to garden and cook a meal together. In case of inclement weather we can retreat to the cabin.
