What we're about

Est. 2001, We are a not-for-profit community organisation run entirely by volunteers and funded by membership fees and a small grant from Brighton and Hove City Council.

We organise a variety of events throughout the year including garden visits, workshops, plant swaps and seasonal celebrations. All these create opportunities for like-minded people to gather together and share their passion for organic gardening.

Our group exists to encourage and support organic gardeners in the local communities of Brighton and Hove.

In 2010 the BHOGG allotment won "Best Community Allotment" in the local City in Bloom competition.
