    Seven Sisters Country Park

    A pleasant walk along green tracks through the woods of Friston Forest followed by a walk across open downland to reach the coast. Then comes a strenuous part of the route, a succession of climbs over 4 of the seven sisters, one of the most spectacular stretches of coastline in England. After reaching Cuckmere Haven it's a gentle stroll by the meandering river back to the start and well earned pub lunch at the Cuckmere pub. Meet at Seven sisters country park car park by the old telephone box beside the main road at 11 am. Approx 6.5 miles. 3.5 hours. Regular buses from Brighton to Seven sisters. Dogs welcome. Best wear suitable footwear, warm waterproof clothes and water recommended.

    Meet outside Devils Dyke pub for a 4 mile walk with stunning views returning to Devils Dyke. There is a steep climb towards the end of this walk. Buses go from Brighton.

    Sidequest

    Beach clean litter pick walk. Meet at Sidequest bar by the beach on the east side of the pier. Litter pickers and bags provided. We will walk and clean as we go. Maybe bring gloves.

  • Saturday walk at Castle Hill nature reserve

    The Weather is looking better this coming weekend! Lovely 4.5 mile walk around the stunning Castle Hill nature reserve on the South Downs national park. We will be walking up a hill but nothing too steep. There isn't a cafe on the route so bring cake and a hot drink if you would like. The weather looks ok but please dress appropriately as we will be on high ground. Look forward to seeing you all.

Then comes a strenuous part of the route, a succession of climbs over 4 of the seven sisters, one of the most spectacular stretches of coastline in England.
