Announcing a new Meetup for The Charlotte Animal Welfare Meetup Group!

What: American Pit Bull Foundation's Fall "Festi-Bull"

When: Saturday, December 11,[masked]:00 AM

Where: Dogtopia of Charlotte
616 Springbrook Road
Charlotte, NC 28217

The American Pit Bull Foundation (APBF) would like to invite you to the First Annual Fall Festi-Bull event to support the American Pit Bull Foundation's Responsibility Campaign.

This event is to spotlight all breeds of dogs, not just pit bulls. Whether you are in it as a Pit Bull lover or to positively impact the community as a whole, supporting the programs that benefit from this event help teach people better decision making skills that they can apply not only with their relationships with their dogs, but in everyday interactions with people as well.

The event is taking place at Dogtopia of Charlotte on Saturday, December 11th from 10am to 4pm.

Proceeds benefit APBF projects such as our Emergency Fund to help responsible owners in financial need with veterinary emergencies, and our Out of the Pits Program. We are working hand in hand with Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control to help owners get out of negative activities with their dogs, and into positive activities such as Canine Good Citizen Training, agility, and pet therapy. These projects are designed to have a drastic impact on the number of pets that enter shelters and are unnecessarily euthanized on a yearly basis.
