Elephant unloading and email addresses

Hello everyone,
We will be teaming up with Betty from Peta for the demonstration
Her phone # is[masked]
& her e-mail is <[address removed]>

She just forwarded the following e-mail to me
regarding the circus demonstration:

Subject: Elephant unloading and email addresses

here are a few things that I wanted to discuss, but let's start with
media. We have a remote staffer (on the email list below) that works out
of Charlotte who has been officially media trained and has volunteered
her services (as she was planning to attend the demo with her husband
anyway). Because of this, our communications department can send out an
official PETA press release notifying all local media outlets of the
demo and inviting them to cover it. They will send out the release the
day before then do the all of the follow up calls to media the day of
the opening night demo. How exciting!

Next, the elephant unloading! According to David, they get off at the
Norfolk-Southern loading station on N. Tryon (Hwy 29) between W 23rd St.
and Keswick. They go right down Tryon and hit the arena which is pretty
much right along that road. They usually make it public so it shouldn't
be too hard finding a general time. In the past, they have tried to make
marching the animals to the arena a much more secretive affair. They
have been recorded unloading at the train station on 3rd Street near
intersection of Graham Street. The route they took was as follows: 3rd
street to Poplar, left on Poplar to 5th street, right on 5th street to
Caldwell, right on Caldwell to arena. I'm sorry that I cannot provide
you with any certainties. I do know that they will be traveling from
Nashville and will start the walk to load the elephants into the train
there at approximately 9PM. I will keep my eyes peeled for more details.

If you have a video camera, I would love to talk to you about filming
the walk! If not, maybe one of the other people attending does. It would
be awesome to send out a quick email to everyone confirmed once we have
more details on the walk to invite them to come and see how many people
we can get out there with cameras on the elephants.

Here is an email list of activists interested in, or that will
definitely be attending the Ringling demo on opening night. As more
people RSVP, I will send their contact information your way:

There are more people confirmed on the Facebook event page for the
protests:

If you let me know your plan for the walk, I can send a FB message to
these people through the event (or if you're on FB I can make you an
administrator and you can do it).

Let me know if I left anything out J
