This is a North Brisbane and South Sunshine Coast based meetup for families with children to go on weekend adventures and do outdoors and family friendly activities together whilst being eco conscious and minimising damage to the environment. We love camping and picnics at a park or beach but don't want them to involve eating meat or dairy because of the cruelty and environmental damage involved.
Families with children of any ages are welcome but the activities will be planned based on primary school aged children's interests and abilities, although likely to be enjoyable and accessible for all and a chance for parents to socialise while their kids make new friends.
Meetups will usually be on a Saturday afternoon or a Sunday morning.
We have two vegetarian rescue dogs and would like to sometimes include them in activities, so we will have preference for dog friendly beaches or campsites. Families with no human children but child friendly vegetarian/vegan dogs might also enjoy.
Meetups will include;
