The fantastic new food & wine school on the scene - The Golden Pig - are holding a special dinner on 10th May - the Granite Belt Wine & Produce Dinner.
Inspired by Aussie Wine Month (no cooking on your part!) in conjunction with Mike Ellis, The Wine Punter, to celebrate the fantastic wines and produce grown and produced in the Stanthorpe region.
We'll be joined by 4 winemakers including Ballandean Estate and Ridgemill Estate showcasing their wine matched by canapes and a 3 course, sit down meal accompanied by the cool tunes of the Dan Quigley Jazz Trio.
The menu includes canapes and Sparkling on arrival followed by:
Salad of Cider Smoked Organic Chicken with Pink Lady Apple, Radish and Walnuts
Slow Cooked Organic Shoulder of Mallow Lamb with Rosemary, Heirloom Tomatoes with Almond and Chilli Picada, Sauteed Potatoes and Jerusalem Artichokes, Roasted Garlic Aioli
Baked Organic Pears in Red Wine, Cinnamon and Star Anise with Mascarpone and Orange and Hazelnut Biscotti
