Adding React Components to a Server Side Rendered ASP.NET App - Larene Le Gassick
Want the benefits of being able to use React components in an ASP.NET MVC app? I’ll show you how we’ve done it in the WORK180 product team, and how that’s enabled us to create a React UI library without losing the performance perks of .NET Core
Larene is an Engineer at WORK180 and conference speaker, she is building products to help raise the bar of workplace culture, diversity, and accessibility at every company in the world, and sharing her technical knowledge with the community as much as she can.

Beyond the buzz - Our Microservices journey in .NET Core 2.1 - Dan Dekel
While Microservices can be a controversial topic, they are still regarded as the most common solution to break down your monolith. While we use Microservices to disentangle our code and break down complexity, they also come at a cost.
Beyond the theory, Dan will provide hands-on examples on how his team successfully implemented a Microservices architecture using .NET Core 2.1, Angular 6 and Docker, deploying to AWS using VSTS.
He will also talk about the difficulties and pitfalls when building applications with Docker in Visual Studio 2017, what to look out for, and when you should start panicking.
Dan is a co-founder at Patient Zero, where empowered development teams are the DNA of the business.
