We are really excited to announce that James Cridland from Podnews is speaking at our February event.

The topic of the evening is Podcasting - a look at the stats, and how they say you can make a better podcast.

James is really active in the podcasting industry - last year he spoke at the ABC Ozpod Conference and gave a great presentation on the Audience Overview - Who’s listening and how has the podcast industry changed, and he was also a judge in the Castaway Podcasting Awards, just to name a couple of the Australian events he's involved with.

James is a radio futurologist - a writer, consultant and public speaker on radio’s future. He is Managing Editor of podnews.net, a daily podcast newsletter, and runs media.info, the media information website. He is also a Director of the Canadian local radio broadcaster VISTA Radio.

There is a cost of $10 to cover the room hire that is payable on the night.

We'll provide some light refreshments and drinks. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements prior to the event.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by Joe, money collected and given a name and show tag. You will also receive a GREEN dot sticker (have a current show online) or an ORANGE dot sticker (idea or development of show phase).

6:30pm - 7:00pm is for networking, organising collaborations, swapping reviews, finding potential guests and anything of a general nature that will improve your show.
I'm a Green dot, I may see an Orange and ask if I can help with any advice that could accelerate the release of their show.
A rising tide lifts all ships as they say, lets make the BRISBANE podcasters an encouraging, productive and positive community.

7:00pm - 7:10pm - quick bit of house keeping, welcome to the new venue an exciting announcement that benefits all members.

7:10pm - 7:50pm - James Cridland blows our minds!

7:50pm onwards - Social Networking, still getting the business done but with a loose tie and a lemonade.lol

Can't wait to see you!
