Details

Eru is an experienced software developer who has been involved in the Brisbane Ethereum community from its first ever Meetup, where attendees would send $10 worth of Ether back and forth to each other to figure out how it worked, through to the DAO hack era, which at the time, seemed like the end of Ethereum.......... right through to the ICO boom in 2017 and beyond.

Earlier this year, Eru took 3 months off from his day job to work full time on the Aletheia blockchain project for scientific publishing. The project's aim was to replace subscription academic journals with a platform that brings the best science into the public domain for the good of humanity.

Come along to share in Eru’s story of his blockchain project journey from the honeymoon through to the ups and downs and to the bitter end. Hopefully you can learn something from Eru’s trials and tribulations of developing a blockchain project -or at very least, find it entertaining.

Arrive at 6pm for some networking drinks and pizza. We kickoff at 6:30pm sharp and finish at 7:30 with up to 30 minutes after for final networking. Newbies and gentlemen are most welcome.
