Are you a comfort eater? Sick of diets and weighing?
The Understanding your Eating programme is designed for people who are aware that their overeating is driven by emotions rather than by hunger.
The programme offers:
- Understanding of the emotions behind overeating
- Effective stategies and structures to help with this
- A small, intimate, supportive group setting, or 1:1 private sessions
- A safe container
- Real self confidence growth
- Self respect
- Short or long term support
This work helps you to stay focussed on growing self respect, which leads to more permanent lasting weight loss, and a happier life.
I also work full time as a psychotherapist for individual adults. The areas that I work with on a daily basis are: anxiety, feeling sad, depression, grief, family issues, relationship (or lack of), abandonment, feeling lonely or 'needy', divorce/separation and self confidence, as well as binge eating, & more...
This Meetup group is designed to inform you of any upcoming Introductory groups and other module meetings. But I am also hoping it will provide a way of being in supportive community with other people in the same boat as you. Because I think this is just as important to recovery as the workshops. This group will continue to grow as I expand this work. I'm starting small with local groups at the moment, but will develop into international online groups eventually.
This is a PrivateGroup.
This means that only members of this group can see its full content, including who it's members are, any details about its members and the specific location of events.
