This event will include a viewing of Hearth's Warming Eve and the premiere of this week's newest episode, as well as a gift exchange, which will be coordinated by Riftwing and Mode. After that, we will have time for games, socialization and fun!
If you want to participate in the gift exchange, set aside $5-10 for it. This will be a blind exchange: a random person will be assigned to you to buy for. You will receive a note with their details and wish list. Another brony will get your name - it may or may not be the one whom you are assigned.
The exchange is now closed. If you haven't gotten your assignment, Mode is working to finish sending them out and you should get yours soon. If you didn't enter in time, feel free to post and see if you can do an open exchange with anyone else.
If you filled out the form, once you get the assignment, get a gift based on the recipient's wishes (if at all possible) and bring it with you to this meetup, wrapped, with their name on it. Deliver it to them whenever you choose - and if you don't know them, now's a great time to meet!
The cut-off date will be December 1st - if you have not entered by then you cannot be in the blind exchange. We need to give everyone time to get gifts and one week is barely enough! Feel free to ask on here or Facebook if you want to do an open exchange, though!
If you have any questions or find that you can no longer participate after submitting this form, please contact Riftwing or Mode. Do NOT just post in the meetup comments, please and thank you!
Hearth's Warming Eve
Season 4, Episode 4 (airs on Dec 7)
METRO: The library is halfway between Ballston and Virginia Square metro stops on the ORANGE line. There are some delays, which can be found on Metro's Trackwork page. To summarize, Blue/Yellow Cemetery stop is closed, so you'd have to shuttle if coming from the South. For Green, Buses replace trains between Greenbelt & College Park.
PARKING: There is an underground garage that is reported to notw require a permit or have a time limit on weekends. There is limited street parking available in the area. I still highly recommend metro for this meetup.
1) Clean up after yourself. We are guests and want to be good guests who have no problem being invited back.
2) Do NOT EVER exchange money while in the Library or on Library property. There can be no exchanging of money at Library Meetups. If you need to settle accounts with an artist or are buying merch from Delc, it needs to happen outside of Library property AFTER the meetup.
The Library does allow us to bring food/drinks/snacks as long as we clean up after ourselves. Please sign up to bring cold and easy to eat/clean up food on this spreadsheet to track who will bring what. Thank you.
