Greetings, fellow Mac & iDevice enthusiasts,
Finding the best password management system for Macs and iDevices, and all about batteries and iDevices, will be the foci of the next MacWaves meeting starting at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday, December 8 in the Eatontown Public Library meeting room, 33 Broad Street, Eatontown.
Bob Shindel plans to talk about batteries and iDevices. I [Lee Maxwell] plan to talk about password management software in general, including Keychain and other methods. Allan Ross will talk about his choice for password management, Password Keeper for Mac, MacBook, iPhone and iPad.
Administratively, we will decide on where we will meet in 2019, including paying rent, if necessary, wherever we meet. I assume we will continue to meet in the meeting room at the Eatontown Library, except July and August. I am told the Eatontown Library will hold its only month-long book sale of 2019 in July, so we won’t be kicked out due to that. We are expected to pay our rent before the end of this year, and I’d like to take care of it that day, so if you can bring an extra $5 to contribute, that will help a lot, and thank you.
We hope you are able to attend and enjoy the programs.
MacWaves has met monthly for nearly 20 years [previously known as the Monmouth-Ocean Professional Macintosh Users Group, or MOPMUG] to teach and learn everything Apple, primarily Macintosh computers, software and peripherals, now expanded to cover iPads, iPods and iPhones, and anything else made by or for Apple. We welcome long-time users, grizzled professionals, switchers from PCs and newcomers to the OS X/iOS platform.
