Do you have a background in percussion?

I took bongo lessons for about a month 5 years ago, seen videos for my congas and djembe but never really took to it. Have been to about 5 drum circles in my life but I'm a quick learner and really enjoy them.

What do you hope to get out of the group?

That feeling of being fully in the present when baptized in rhythm. Meeting nice people who like nature, and can turn each other on to new music from all over the world.

What Ralf is saying about this Meetup Group

Other's should join this meetup because drumming can keep you focused on the present moment. And it doesn't matter if you're a total beginner or advanced, there are drums, bells, shakers and other fun things to play. Also you can connect with the members with Brian's new REMO Health Rhythms, where we sit in a circle, take turns playing what we have gone through the week and then talk about it if you want. Then more jamming. Good stuff.
