African Inspired Workshop and Drum Circle Recap.

Hello Groovelanders!

I loved the relaxed and present vibe from this group. The group was able to play all three rhythms of Kuku at the same time and it was groovin! Beverly added the dun dun rhythms on the drum set and added even more spice to our groove. Our post workshop drum circle included rhythm games like Orbit, we created Rhythmical 'One Word Story', drum soloing over grooves and playing just with hand held percussion. I had a blast and hope the members of this group return for our next adventure in sound and community music making.

Our next circle will be on Sunday, January 9th. Details to come. In the meantime.....

Happy Holidays!

Keep groovin',

Brian
