What we're about
You are welcome to be part of a community that enjoys attending live concert performances offered by local, city-wide, and international artists at "Art on the Corner" in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. "Art on the Corner" is a venue, offered by Good Shepherd Church [7420 4th Ave.], for artists to share their work with the community - making the arts accessible to the community and the community accessible to the artists. We hope to meet you at our next event!
All events have a suggested donation of $15 [unless noted otherwise] that goes to support the artists and to help offset the costs associated with producing concert events. Most events take place on Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m. Previous artists/events include: piano virtuoso Maxim Anikushin, Westside Duo [piano & clarinet], Bella Voce Singers [a women's choral group], St. Petersburg Men's Ensemble [a cappella vocal quartet], Concert for Japan, Children's Choral Arts Festival for Peace, Park Slope Singers [a mixed choral group], Children's Chorus of Bay Ridge, Windsor Trio [Chamber Music], pianist Evgenia Efremova, flutist Donna Wood, violinist Helene Bergman, Brooklyn Community Chorus [a mixed choral group], violist Eva Gerard, PentaWinds [wind quintet], harmonica virtuoso Jia-Yi He, soprano Sara Paar, organist Anthony Mark LaMort, jazz singer Jessica Corbin.
