Well guys, i'm avtually limping less than I expected to be. Still feel like I lost a fight, but I have no swelling, and do not even have any visible black and blues. I don't bruise easily in general.

Awesome adventure! Now I have another good reason to want to come back to the States. You people are a real inspiration. Ed, I want to be like you when I grow up.
    Excellent group!

Great day, despite my falls. Ed, great time following your lead.

'sorry guys, my rear brake isn't working.

I thought that Smutt meant "nice", "cool", "well done", and so forth. Looking at the way we concerted everything, last minute I would agree with the person who wrote it. Thanks Judy for the great idea!

Ok. So, just to clarify, Carmine, you will pick me up, right? For details, time, etc.:[masked] 7345.
It is going to be a great day tomorrow!

awnh man, I wish I had seen this earlier!! I would have loved to join, but sadly I have plans tomorrow and even more sadder is they won't be MTB related... definitely enjoy yourself and be safe!

I'm not sure what Smutt means, but I know these are some nice people who are interested in the sport and want to learn more and advance their skills. So thank you in advance Edward for agreeing to lead.

Basically Smutt means porn, filfth, dirt and crap. I think the person who emailed that was being a condescending jerk.

Hi guys, I also know the park fairly well, I'd be happy to show you guys some good stuff. Lamail, it would be great to see you!!!

    1 · June 27, 2014

    • Jonathan K.

Hey Ed, Lamail, just so you guys know people's levels. I'll use Cunningham as a reference. I can ride all the trails in the park, and can hit most of the technical features except for the log rides and two or three of the rollovers (the big one on the first black trail on the west side being the most prominent that I can't ride over). I can handle smaller drops, and steep generally does not bother me.

      June 27, 2014

    • Jonathan K.

I rode with Natasha and Carmine, and they were able to ride those same trails, but it was bringing them just above their comfort level. They can do the stuff, but needed a push to know they could do it. They've both ridden a lot in Stillwell.

    Ed, I'll sweep d ride!!!

Natasha, Carmine, take down my number and send me texts. This way we can all communicate tomorrow.

    got it.

    June 27, 2014

  • Carmine

    Natasha, sure.

    June 27, 2014

  • Natasha

Carmine, we live close by. If you are coming directly home after the trip, may I ride with you?

    June 27, 2014

  • Carmine

3 maybe 4 depending on the bikes. Including my own.

    June 27, 2014

  • Carmine

Hey, I haven't received my shin guards or new pedals yet, but I like the road trip idea. I can help out with some people and bikes. Let me know...

    1 · June 27, 2014

    • Jonathan K.

How many bikes can you transport?

      June 27, 2014

  • edward L

I have a car, but I'm not sure yet where I'm going to end up after the ride, so I can't promise anyone a ride back.

    1 · June 27, 2014

  • Jonathan K.

Let's make sure we know how everyone's getting there. Edward? Judy? Natasha and I both have cars, and both can carry two bikes.

Hey, Jonathan, could we carpool? We could take my road warrior and that way your bike can drive in style. I do not know how many bikes I can fit in the trunk, in case that somebody else wants some company. Lamail, I am always willing to follow good leaders. Just ask Jonathan.

    1 · June 27, 2014

  • Jonathan K.

Oh, I have never been to Blue Mountain either, but have been wanting to go for a long time.

    June 27, 2014

  • Jonathan K.

Well damn, I was just thinking of coming here to post the same thing! I do not have a bike rack, so I can fit two bikes in the trunk of my car, with the front wheel removed.

    June 27, 2014

  • Natasha

Hey, Judy. I have never been to Blue Mountain, my daughter ditched me for this weekend, and my plane leaves on Monday. So, I am definitely interested. It would be great if people can carpool. I can bring four people with me, but my rack can hold only two bikes. Any ideas?
