What: Lite Intermediate Ride @ Mianus River Park

When: Sunday, July 11,[masked]:00 AM

Where:
Mianus River Park Stamford
Merriebrook Ln
Stamford, CT 06902

Lite Intermediate Level ride @ Mianus River Park

You should be comfortable handling small to medium obstacles (rock gardens, logs, large roots..) and be able to keep up at an increased pace at times.

Mianus River Park is in Stamford, CT

This park has a tight network of both fire roads and singletrack. Good for novices and intermediate riders. The Mianus River runs along the east side of the property, so it is hard to get lost. Some climbs, short runs to bomb down, some tech sections. Overall a good workout trail with several interconnected loops. There are some log obstacles which you can find and try. Several carriage roads with singletrack offshoots.

Trail map can be found here http://files.meetup.com/1483996/foMRP-trailmap.pdf or in our "files" section

By Train :
The closest train station is Stamford which is a 4 mile / 30 minute ride from the park.

By Car :

The address to the "Red Barn" should be 240 Merriebrook Lane, but as an alternate you can try the co-ordinates of[masked] , [masked] or click here to have it open in Google Maps, where you can customize directions from your starting point.

Take exit 33 from the Merrit Parkway, proceed to Westover Rd south (head toward downtown Stamford). Look out for Merriebrook Lane on your right and signs indicating the park. Parking lot is next to the big red barn just down the hill. If you cross the bridge over the river you've gone too far. There is limited parking close to the river.
