Its been a quiet few months for a number of reasons around here, but this is a great way to give back and start to get things going again.
Trail maintenance is a crucial part of having these amazing places to ride. As you can all imagine, hurricane Sandy wreaked some havoc. CLIMB is the organization that maintains the trails at Cunningham as well as several other parks. They are in need of some man power for the clean up.
As is posted on their forum :
"Cunningham SATURDAY Trailwork - Nov. 17th 9am-1pm
Come join us for a few hours of trail maintenance and downed tree removal.
Wear sturdy boots, gloves, long pants and sleeves.
Bring a friend and your favorite saw, clippers, shovel or rake.
PEAK BIKE SHOP will be sending volunteers and buying lunch.
The goal here is to get it 100% rideable.
Please post trail updates if you have them.
210th St and 67th Ave
Hope to see you there."
Would be great to have a strong turn out for this event.
Feel free to post any questions or concerns.
