This is more of a "you are welcome to come if you want" than an official ride. I do not plan to lead a group of riders, nor wait around for anyone. Maybe we will do a few runs together and have lunch or break at a set time, but thats about it. This is the last day the park will be open for the season.

While the park itself does have a few (3-5) trails for beginners, the majority is for more advanced Downhill riders.

The park is "lift assisted riding", meaning you take a ski lift (with bike) up to the top and its all downhill from there. Depending on trails there will be significant drops and obstacles.

A full day lift ticket is $38.

Bike rental is available on location as anything other than a strong, full suspension /downhill bike is not recommended and can lead to injury and damage to bike. Bike rental is either $79 or $99 depending on bike chosen, and it is recommended to reserve online b/c they can run out of bikes.

Full face helmet and knee/shin guards as well as elbow/forearm guards can also be rented on-site, and if you don't have them, I never met you. I believe it is a requirement, though I can't confirm.

Rental details can be found @ http://diablofreeridepark.com/bikeparkrentals.html

The drive is approximately 1 hour from most parts of NYC. If riding with someone please be considerate and offer some $$ for tolls and gas.
