Hello! I have very little experience with a sewing machine; would it be possible to be walked through/taught how to make placemats with an instructor's help in the timeframe provided? The material is cotton duck if that makes a difference. Thank you for your insight and time.

Hi Stephanie- Thanks so much for reaching out. This class is for people with sewing experience who feel confident on a machine. If you are more of a beginner it would be best to take our beginner class on Dec 14. We will be going over fundamentals on how to use the machine, pattern making and other beginner tips. We will make napkins, but you can change the shape of yours to make placemats. We make two during class, and you will bring the pattern home to continue to practice at home.
