Rex Peoples is a Colorado singer, song-writer, vocal coach and Blues in The Schools educator. Playing the best of blues, soul & funk that will get you dancing.

Deborah Stafford is a talented and versatile singer. She can wail on the blues just as easily as singing a beautiful 40's Big Band ballad. "The key is giving the song what it needs" she says. After studying voice classically at CU Boulder, and deciding to the dismay of her instructors that she would rather pursue Jazz music and she joined a Big Band as their singer. Next, she created her own Jazz Quartet in an effort to expand her repertoire, which naturally lead her to the Blues. (Blues being the origin of Jazz). Deborah's band recently represented Colorado at The International Blues Competition January 2019 in Memphis

Kevin and Grace have been teaching partner blues dance in Boulder and Ft Collins since 2015. "Our goal is: 1) to get more gentlemen onto the social dance floor. 2) to teach everyone blues social dance quickly and confidently to a wide variety of dance genres. 3) to have a whole lotta fun!!! You do not need prior dance experience and you do not need a partner to participate.

The Buffalo Rose has been an entertainment fixture in Golden since 1859. Recently remodeled, the venue is newer, fresher and brighter. One of the best places to see live music in Colorado. Arrive early for a pub style meal and beverage then dance (or simply listen to the music) on the large dance floor. Parking is available downtown in the surrounding neighborhoods within a few blocks.

Dress is casual or stylish, 21+. We will attempt to hold chairs for the RSVP's. If this is your first meetup event please introduce yourself to the hosts. Hope you can attend.
