This is a group for those interested in health and wellness.
The main focus of this group is healthy eating, wellness and active-lifestyle; not politics or philosophy. You may be vegan, vegetarian or fruitarian, but not condemn those who aren't. Or you may love grass-fed meat and organic dairy - you may love the taste or feel it is part of a well-balanced diet. Or you may be a supporter for local farm foods because you worry about injesting BPAs, pesticides, GMOs or hormones. The main reason you choose your foods is so that you can be healthy as defined by you, your needs and your body - as it may not necessarily be the same for everyone.
You love to exercise and enjoy fun ways of doing so, but aren't necessarily into triathalons or extreme mud runs (but if you are, and want to join us on some fun activities, then you're welcome). The end result is that we'd all just like to be healthier, maybe shed a few pounds, make some friends in between and have fun!
Every meetup group requires effort on everyone's part, to take an active role and come out for events. If you don't plan to be an active member, then this group is not for you.
