As high-level programming languages users, we love bold promises of getting all our problems solved just by adding a few annotations. Those few annotations come often bundled with other magical techniques like classpath scanning or dynamic proxies… and creep into our domain models contributing to long-term maintainability issues... and/or consultancy and premium enterprise support costs. In this session, we’ll have a look at the cons of adopting invasive frameworks and how we can minimize the problems they cause.
