This is a group for those interested in painting outdoors to capture the light, learning to work quickly from nature and man-made things, meeting other artists, and generally sharing our painting passion. It's open to all levels and media although this is not a class and no instruction is offered. For those who wish, we can provide constructive feedback in a positive manner in order to grow and learn from each other. We will meet once a month early enough to catch the morning sun at different locations in and around Brussels. After working for 1-2 hours, we can meet for a coffee or lunch, discuss our work, and plan the next session. What to bring: painting or drawing materials, easel, materials for cleaning (water, turpentine, paper towels), bags for trash, clear or white umbrella (preferred for the light) to tape to the easel*, money for a drink or lunch afterward, headphones if it makes you happy, and a sense of humor. * Notes - this is Belgium, it rains. In case of heavy weather, the session will be postponed till the following week. In case of light-ish rain, we work. It's part of the light and atmosphere thing. These sessions are free; you just need to show up with your own supplies.
