This is a group for connecting mind/body in natural way. This group is not sponsored. We have no religious affiliation and we do not follow any religious tradition as a group. We mix elements of Gurdjieff, Ouspensky, Reich, Osho, tribal rituals, Tai-Chi and martial arts. We practice Active, Dynamic, Spontaneous and Dance meditations.
There are things one can do alone. There are things that one can do only in the group. Group meditations give members an opportunity to experience group energy and feel natural among like-minded people.
The active dynamic meditations allow the energy flow freely again. If you are already doing still meditations or yoga, the active dynamic meditations will balance them and bring another dimension to your self-discovery. The active meditation not only to silences your mind but also connect your body and your mind in an unobstructed way. Then, falling inside becomes effortless and meditation is natural and easy as the witnessing presence expands. If you tried still meditation and found it hard to do then you should try an active one. Still meditation is hard when your mind is racing from one though to the other. An active meditation will silence your mind and improve your ability to establish a meditative state. The meditative state is a feeling of connectedness to the moment between past and future when nothing is happening and mind rests. An active meditation is also about awakening your body awareness and expanding its perceptive power.
Human bodies were designed to have an active voice in a complex interaction with our inner and outer world. Not only an ordinary person sits for hours without active movement but the mind of such person also overruns natural body rhythm, body messages and suppresses needs. Do your remember waiting for the end of the meeting to go to the restroom? Or waiting for a break to drink some water? Denial of little and big body needs creates a stress.
