Creative Writing Budapest - Discussion & Workshop

Online event

If you're new to us, we run a bi-weekly workshop/support group to encourage creative writing, motivate, solicit feedback and find collaborators. We typically explore ideas and seek to foster lateral thinking, style development, current events and how such can be used as devices, themes and backgrounds for writing. To keep participants sharp, we typically share some writing (though being a listener and feeding back is also fine (and wanted!)). For this meetup, the prompt is either: - denied access - freestyle - whatever you wish to offer. For those contributing something please: 1) limit yourself to 850 words - keep in mind that each person usually has 15 minutes of group time (to discuss); such will be enforced if we have several people. 2) post the item on bpcw.slack.com at least 6 ours in advance of the meet in "_NextMeetup" channel (write me at eahofer (at) gmail if you aren't a member already) 3) have at least a question in mind for the group about the work. Sadly, while Bp is on "stay @ home" mode, we won't be meeting in person; I will post a zoom invitation in advance of the meeting. Be prepared with an audio connection - we might do video too - depending upon bandwidth. Lastly, we are using a free version of Zoom - as such it's likely the meeting will forcibly ended after 45 minutes. If that is the case, we will post a 2nd invite in the meetup dialogue to continue. Note, as Meetup expects a physical location - I've had to insert a pin. Please DON'T go here. Click on the Zoom link that will be posted.
