What we're about

All are welcome to practice the origins of mindful meditation. Referred to as Vipassana Meditation from the Pali word for Insight, this is the practice which the Buddhist monks have been teaching for 2600 years. In the one hour we sit for 20 minutes, then do walking meditation for 15 minutes and a second and final sit for 20 minutes. During the second sit there is always a reflection on loving kindness. There will be helpful instructions given every week for newcomers and experienced meditators.

I have been the meditation leader at the temple for 7 years. I love it!!

There is never a charge but donations are always welcome.
