Training in meditation & concentration

On this course we will explore six special practices - the Six Perfections - which are the very essence of the Buddhist spiritual path. These are: Generosity, Ethical Living, Patient Acceptance, Concentration, Joyful Effort and Wisdom. Everyone wants to lead a happy and meaningful life, and these six practices are the perfect method to help us accomplish this goal.

On this course we will learn the real meaning of these practices as Buddha intended, and see how they can be integrated into our daily lives. Gradually we will see how these practices can fill our life with meaning and joy. In this way we will naturally become a kinder and more loving person - a Bodhisattva - a real friend of the world.

Every class consists of talk and two meditations guiding us to an experience of inner calm enabling us to really take the teachings to heart.
