What we're about

This group is for those in their 20's and 30's who are looking to get out and do more than just bars and clubs. WNY is a hotspot for all types of activities. Let's get together and do everything from hiking to a game/movie night.

Pickup Ultimate Frisbee - Front Park

Front Park

This is for all skill levels. This is a non-contact sport but does contain a bit of running. Here is a link to the rules: https://www.usaultimate.org/assets/1/Page/USAU_Resource_Guide_P4-Ult_in_10_Simple_Rules_08-09-10.pdf To put it simply, its football ball with a Frisbee, but you don't tag people out. As soon as someone catches it, they stop and throw it forward to their team. It turns over to the other team, if no one catches it, if it's intercepted, or if it's blocked. Depending on the amount of people we will proportionally increase/decrease the size of the field to ensure that we not exhausted after each goal or that its not too easy to make one. Make sure to bring: - A dark shirt and a light shirt, so we can distinguish between teams. - Tennis shoes - Water/Choice of refreshment We'll have this going every week and try kick ball another day of the week. We'll switch it up between Front Park and Delaware Park from week to week. It's a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing a lot of new people. No cleats or anything like that. This is not competitive.

Social Cycle: Scajaquada Creek Bike Path

Ashkers in the Park

Let's bike the Scajaquada Pathway out to Unity Island and back. We can meet in front of the Ashker's located in Delaware Park before heading out. After we make it to Unity Island we can decide if we want to continue or head back. Distance is approximately 5 miles, pace will be somewhat dependent on the group although we are riding more for fun and to be social.
