Hike the Bova Ski Area Trails and Bushwhack

  • Camp Allegany

ASP 2, Red House, NY (map)

    42.103413 -78.716194

  • IMPORTANT! - we cannot do this hike if there is an unexpected significant snow fall (anything more than a dusting to an inch) because the ski trails will then be closed to hikers to preserve the base for x-country skiers. But there is no significant snow wall in the current forecast so we should be good to go.

This 6 mile hike will use both marked ski trails (shown in blue on the map), some short bushwhacks (shown in orange), and a portion of the new Mountain Bike Trail and old park trail (shown in red). We'll also visit the newer Bova Ski area leanto on the Ridge Run trail as well.

The hike starts at the end of the road just past Camp Allegany.
