Casual Game Night at Panera on Niagara Falls Boulevard!!

  • Jan 7, 2011 · 6:00 PM

Wes and I won't be at this one as I'm having surgery. Anthony will be your Host for this Game Night - THANK YOU ANTHONY!!! Casual Game Night is your chance to play new and old favourites - card or board game, there are no restrictions on the type of game. Whether it's Chess, Uno, Fluxx, Monopoly, or something more European (Eurogames) like Settlers of Catan and Carcassone - this is the event to play it at!
Friday Casual Game Nights are at the Panera Bread cafe on Niagara Falls Boulevard, across from Barnes & Noble so we can get an hour longer to play as they are open until 10:00pm. Typically we attempt to grab the largest table in the venue (Mixed results on this.) It's the large table in front of the fireplace - but if need be we spread ourselves out and play whatever. I haul 2 whole large bags, packed full of games, to the event, so if you have no games of your own that is fine. Since Donna won't be in attendance, the
list of games available will be a little different, but there will still be tons of fun games to play. There IS a small purchase required for everybody at the venue, as Panera Bread requires the purchase of at least a soft drink. Anyways, it makes for a pleasant, and very fun, Friday evening, and hope to see some of you there!

About half a dozen people attended. We played til they kicked us out, then four of us went to Denny's and played till 2 in the morning! We had a great time!

I will bring my two big bags of games, so there will be no shortage of games to play despite Donna's absence. :) See my post in the discussion forum for a list of games I have. I'm sure the only problem we'll run into is deciding what to play first!
