What we're about

This group is designed for new investors as well as existing property owners who want to purchase income property to maximize cash flow and tax benefits as well as to address needs in the community. The organizer is Carmen Hill who has a MBA in real estate finance from the Wharton School; 40+ years of real estate experience in the for profit and non-profit sectors; is an Adjunct Professor in the Real Estate Department of Cerritos College; and is President of the MultiCultural Real Estate Alliance for Urban Change.

The group will have regular educational workshops on investing in income property--residential and commercial--and the government programs that provide financial incentives for landlords.

The first workshop will be held on May 31, 2017, 6-10PM, at the Holiday Inn LAX,
9901 S. LaCienega Boulevard, LA 90045 to introduce the members on the basic terminology that will need to know to make a sound investment decision, such terms as Gross Rent Multiplier, cap rate, ROI, IRR, DSC, non-conforming use, etc. The workshop fee is $69 for 4-hour workshop.
