That was quick!  I just got a phone call, and it looks like Sampson will have a great new home with Ken.  And be a big brother to is little girl bulldog.
Please keep in mind we do have two girls that are retired from breeding and would love new homes as well.
Once again thanks to the Meetup Groups for caring!!

Hi Gang,
I am having another "shake my head" moment.  I thought I would approach the Meet-up groups first.
Someone is coming tomorrow to drop off his 4 year old bulldog right before Christmas.  This is a dog of our breeding, and we take back any of our dogs, at any age, for any reason.  But I have to bite my tongue when I hear the reason - smile, and take back the dog - then hope for a less selfish owner in the future for poor Sampson.
This is reportedly a healthy, happy, well house broken, cuddly, bulldog.  His owners have moved into a rental while their nice new home is being built, and the landlord doesn't like him (how many of you would move into a place that wouldn't take a member of your family? ) And they have have a new baby which they say takes up too much of their time to make it "fair" to the dog. (I hesitate to see what happens to baby #1, when they decide to have baby #2 - we have to draw the line somewhere and a child of that age we will NOT take!).
I have attached a picture of Sampson and he is absolutely beautiful!!   He is neutered and shots are up to date.
I expect he will be confused, lost, and upset, and because we have new babies in the house, he will need to be kept in the kennel.  Which will not be good for his state of mind.  Poor boy.
If there is someone in the group that would like more information on adopting Sampson please get in touch with me.  The price will depend on how much we have to pay the owners to get him back, but I expect between $500 & $1,000.  If anyone is interested in giving this fellow a great, FOREVER home.  Please contact us either by e-mail [address removed] or[masked]am-9pm.
