Bunnyfest 2013

I copied the invitation below; I'll be volunteering

You are invited to attend the 13th annual 2013 BunnyFest, a wonderful festival designed for you and your rabbits. BunnyFest is a Free, BYOB (bring your own bunny) event for current and prospective rabbit guardians and their friends too. BunnyFest is the major annual fundraiser for The Rabbit Haven, an all volunteer, non-profit rabbit rescue group supporting rabbits in need throughout the bay area since 1987. Join in the fun!!!

The BunnyFest promises to be an exciting day filled with fun, food, playful activities, plenty of shopping and special talks to keep you up to date on all things bunny! Our keynote speaker this year is the renowned Dr. Carolynn Harvey. To reserve your place, please register online at

Please feel free to bring your healthy bunny. We will have a special bunny rest area so your bunny can have hay, water and a fresh litter box break. Bring their lunch or select from fresh greens available in our Nibbles Café.

BunnyFest is attended by hundreds of rabbit enthusiasts every year. It is the premier rabbit event in Northern California. This year BunnyFest is held Sunday, June 30 at Nordahl Hall, 580 West Parr Ave., Los Gatos (same location as last year), from 11 AM to 4 PM. BunnyFest is a happy, festive, and fun filled event. Free to attend - Free parking too.

We will have great speakers, demonstrations, and a Bunny Spa area too! Just for fun, have your bunny photo taken and shop for great bunny themed items for yourself or your rabbit! There will also be an awesome raffle and luscious food at the Nibbles Café. We have several exciting vendors coming, plus Rabbit Haven’s retail sales area where you can find handmade and unique items to purchase as gifts or to keep! There is something for EveryBunny!

Volunteer if you like: Want to be part of the team that makes this happen? You can sign up to volunteer for BunnyFest when you register online to attend. With so many different volunteer positions, it’s easy to find a spot where you can help, and sign up for a shift (or two!). Many positions are available, and shifts are short enough that you can help with the event, as well as enjoy all of the fun.

This is The Rabbit Haven’s primary fundraiser for 2013. We hope to raise $5,000.00. Please help us reach this goal. Join us and have a great time while contributing to the care and well being of hundreds of rescued rabbits!

I look forward to seeing you at BunnyFest. Email me with any questions and be sure to register so we know you are coming. Wait until you see The Earful magazine. It will contain many important new articles on rabbit health and care. Everyone who comes to the event receives a free copy! OK, Register now! Go to

What time is everyone planning on going? Maybe we should arrange to meet there (or even offsite but in the vicinity, there's a creek trail nearby). I'm volunteering till 12:30 so it'll have to be after that.
