What we're about

In 2020, me and my husband Mitch Borden founded Gotham Yardbird Sanctuary to remedy the dire situation for NYC's Jazz community and local businesses after Covid-19 devastated the city of dream.

GYS sponsors Live Jazz performances with social distancing till the vaccination ensures the safety of the public health.

Yardbird Jam is our first programming and its headquarter is at Bodeguita on 6 Suydam street.

Every Thursday from 6 to 9pm ( during January 2020, it will be on Saturdays ), we invite different Jazz artists, young and old, right from the vibrant musician community in the city.

No cover for anybody with sketch book can join us to draw live local artist with various instruments and nationality and gender in relaxed artistic environment. Beautiful patio upstairs!
