This is a hands on session on how to increase your data analysis speed by 5 to 10 times using free resources such as GPU. This session will take place as a free online webinar on the 18th of December at 7:30 PM.
Any data scientist or machine learning enthusiast who has been trying to elicit performance of her learning models at scale will at some point hit a cap and start to experience various degrees of processing lag.
Tasks that take minutes with smaller training sets may now take more hours—in some cases weeks—when datasets get larger. You’ll need the best hardware, and while researching you will come across and may get confused with CPUs, GPUs, and ASICs.
1) Introduction to Machine Learning
2) Using machine learning on datasets/How different algorithms can
perform on the datasets
3) Comparison between CPU performance vs free GPU performance
4) Q&A session
About the Speaker: Pradip Tivhale is a Data Scientist who completed his masters in Computer Science from IIT Madras. His core area of interest is Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Having previously worked on his own Artificial Intelligence startup , he is currently working as a full time lead Data Science instructor at Byte Academy.
Byte Academy (“Byte”) is a leader in industry oriented technology education with courses in Python software development, FinTech, Data Science and Blockchain. Byte provides short format immersive boot camps in industry-relevant technologies and is recognized for small classes, career assistance and sense of community. We established the first FinTech program in the world and also the first Python full-stack software development boot-camp in New York City, where it is headquartered.
