We visit this great beer festival in the historic Maison Dieu at Dover every year. Warning: all beers are 5% and above! Most of us go on Friday. For the Friday visit, we suggest the 1322 train from Canterbury East. The festival is a 5 minute walk from Dover Priory station. There are 2 trains an hour for travelling back to Canterbury.
Some members will be travelling by the 15 bus (about 3 per hour) from Canterbury Bus Station. The festival is about 5 minutes walk from the Pencester Road bus station.
Admission is free to card-carrying CAMRA members. For non-members, it's £5 Friday and £2 Saturday. The beer list is available on Facebook.
If you are going on Saturday, we usually reserve a table in the main hall for Canterbury branch and friends. Don't go too late or the selection of beers may be a bit limited. The festival is open on Saturday from 1030 to 1800 (unless the beer runs out first)
