Discover Your Heart Centered Story

Conscious Choice Media and Conscious Business Network, in partnership with Katherine Zimmerman presents:

Discover our heart centered story

We will delve a bit further into expanding our intuition by discovering our heart centered story.

When we want to understand something we can ask two different questions. “How does it work?” Or we can ask, “What’s the story?”

There’s quite a difference between an explanation and a story. An explanation will analyze, dissect, show principles, rules or laws. But a story touches us. It can excite us and move us. We stand back and examine an explanation. We participate in a story and learn from our vicarious experience.

For example, what if you said to a co-worker who was considering leaving an unhappy marriage, “sometimes you just have to make the break so everyone can get on with their lives and be happier in the long run.”

Consider instead how hearing a story about your life and how a similar circumstance worked out for you might be heard by your co-worker’s heart and taken in as being very helpful.

The first step in discovering your intuition is to follow your breath because it allows you to shift gears. Our intuition kicks in when we’re relaxed and serene not when we’re concerned or worried, fatigued, stressed or trying too hard. It’s very much like hypnosis in that we can’t experience that state when we try– we need to let go and allow it to occur. Athletes talk about being in “the zone” when they’re playing. They’re unaware of the audience, completely focusing on the moment. Sometimes, when life is going really well, we talk about being in the “flow.” Everything is effortless and easy. Time has no meaning. Intuition is also a part of the flow experience.

This is an experiential class. You will be uncovering your heart centered story for another participant and they will do the same for you. Bring a question -- don't share it ahead -- for which you would like to receive insight.

Class size is limited to 10.
