Humanism 101 at the Thursday Discussion, Tomorrow!

From: Kyle S.
Sent on: Wednesday, June 9, 2010 1:12 PM

Please excuse the additional email about tomorrow's meetup. But aside from a much anticipated topic by Ronin, and a structured discussion never before seen in a CCA, we will have some special guests!

Mike and Rob from the Corpus Christi Humanists group "The Old Guys" will be in attendance and open for questions.

I know there were several people interested in hearing about this movement (with both interest and healthy skepticism). So if this was something you were considering, I apologize for the short notice, but you should make it out tomorrow! This is a great way to bridge the generation gap and enjoy some intelligent conversation.

And if you've never heard of Humanism, in a nutshell: "We strive to bring about a progressive society where being ?good without god? is an accepted way to live life."

Lastly, if conversation isn't your thing... Make sure you make it out to the Roller Derby to watch chicks in fishnets and roller skates knock eachother around!

I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:
