The May CFI - NEO monthly meeting will be held at the Independence Public Library at 7 pm in the meeting room. Our own VP of Programing, Mark Tiborsky will explore the odd and often counter-intuitive spirit of our universe. His presentation, "Celestial Strangeness" will focus on everything from bizarre objects in our own solar system, to those located in the farthest known reaches of space. Casual science buffs won't want to miss this one! As famed English astronomer Sir Arthur Eddington [masked]) once quipped, "not only is the universe stranger than we imagine, it is stranger than we can imagine.

As usual, light refreshments will be served and all are welcome to participate in questions and answers. We look forward to seeing you there!
