The September monthly CFI Northeast Ohio meeting will be on the 11th, at 7 pm, at the Richmond Heights Library, 5235 Wilson Mills Rd. (in the strip shopping center). This will be a continuation of our well-attended (and with great participation) open floor discussion from August.

For Part 1, we focused on many (but by no means all) of the logical fallacies. Part 2 will focus more on the cognitive biases... as with the use of logical fallacies, we are all prone to these at times!

Simply defined, a cognitive bias is "a limitation in objective thinking that is caused by the tendency for the human brain to perceive information through a filter of personal experience and preferences." We'll be examining and discussing some of the more common cognitive biases, and perhaps some that are less common.

As usual, light refreshments will be served... see you there! :)
