Screening of "Hope For All" at the 2016 Peace On Earth Film Festival

Join us for the Peace On Earth Film Festival (POEFF)! - Great cause, excellent selections, and it's free!

Many of you may remember our first interaction with Peace On Earth Film Festival (POEFF) when we were invited to screen Chicago Premiere of Peaceable Kingdom in 2010. It was a HUGE success! Since that CIDFilms is happy to work with POEFF every year. This year POEFF is bringing to Chicago another extremely educational film: Hope For All – Food Matters. You Matter  (Austria, 101 min).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5e7jTcKqWIM

Please join us and invite your friends to see this important film to support the Festival and enjoy the film!

The Screening will be in the Claudia Cassidy Theater (298 seats) at the Chicago Cultural Center. We will be meeting near the entrance either inside, if possible, or outside of the theater.  Since some of us may come earlier to enjoy other films, we don't plan having a gathering, so if you don't see us, just go inside to enjoy the screening yourself.

Please note that the event is FREE for public and on first come - first served basis. Therefore, your RSVP doesn't guarantee your admission. We expect a lot of people so come earlier not to be left out!

Let's invite as many people as possible to partner with POEFF in educating and raising consciousness of our community!

Please note that while this meetup is Thursday, March 3rd, the Festival runs Thursday through Sunday. For the complete POEFF calendar of films click here.

This will be a joint meetup between CIDFilms, ChicagoVeg, CGE, and some other groups.

Feel free to use "Comments" area on the event page to offer/ask for rides and post any general questions or comments.

Interesting event, wish I made it. Any similar plans, perhaps Earth day (4/22)?

"Hope For All ..." also speaks strongly to a love for all animals: to never see some as pets and others for consumption.

Vadim, thank you for the wonderful representation of the the Peace On Earth Film Festival and what we serve. I know I am preaching to the choir - however:

After reviewing "Hope for All - Food Matters. You Matter" - back in early November - I quite meat and poultry for good. I feel I got my life back.
POEFF Co-founder/Director, Milissa Pacelli, reviewed in January, and went meat free after.

An exciting evening, Thursday, March 3: 7:45 Chicago Cultural Center, Claudia Cassidy Theater ... A Dedication to Living Life Meat Free.

BTW: Jerome McDonnell, Host of WBEZ Worldview will be our Master of Ceremony and conducting a conversation following "Hope for All - Food Matters. You Matter.", and he is dedicated to the planet, healthy eating and living. I look forward to seeing you all at the Peace On Earth Film Festival, for this most important screening, and throughout the weekend.

    Nick
