Re: [webdesign-396] Ordering Books

Mr. Ron,

I ordered the head first books for you and the HTML Pocket Guide. I ordered that even though you know HTML pretty well because it includes information on the new HTML5 tags. We're going to be using that as our shortcut when we get to HTML5 in our course. I also ordered the CSS Pocket Reference for you. (Get a kindle trust me on this :D)

The only one we've not had at the office is the HTML Pocket Guide. It is new. But the others were on the bookshelf which is in the inner office separate from the classroom. I will keep one set on hand so that folks that cannot afford the books can come in outside of class time and study.

As far as costs the course is free so that those who simply cannot afford, can still attend. I am asking for donations for those that can afford. For the HTML course I'm suggesting between $5 to $20 with some extras for folks that donate $10 consistently. For the PHP I am suggesting between $15 to $30 because it is a more complex course.

Whether someone donates or not, as long as I am running these two or any other donation based course, I won't turn anyone away if they cannot afford to donate. But if all of those that come can donate about the minimum suggested, I should be able to pay the rent here, which is my main goal. Anything extra helps pay for the internet, or other things like a white board, chairs, books for those in need. You get the idea:)
