Re: [webdesign-396] W3C Validation

Yup. That is what you call an "Aoirthoir Comment Validation Error". When I'm
testing I will just put an A in front of a property to cancel it out. It's cheaper than
/* and */. But so far you're the only one that has caught that. :D

So register for CSStivus and I will make someone buy you a Guinness :D.

Kind Regards,
Aoirthoir Von Lichtenstein the Third.

Zak MacDonald from the meetup sent me the following question:
"Hey Joe [Aoirthoir] whats this csstivus? Is it a clever name that shrouds your true intent of drunken belligerence or is it to actually discuss css?"

My reply:

This year it is a party. It is also a website where we will be posting CSS tips (the Feats of Strength section) and how to fix CSS irritations (Grievances section). Next year it will be a conference, a party and a site.

We'll be having daily updates on the site. Some posts will inform about the party, such as entertainers that have definitely signed on, sponsors who have sent schwag for yens to take home from the party, or other things. Other posts will be directly CSS related.

In the coming weeks we'll be bringing its sister site online. It exists right now but just points to the same space as The two sites combined are a celebration, whether at an in person party, or just on the sites themselves, of everything HTML5 and CSS2+ related.

If any would like to sponsor check out our page or contact me at [address removed]. Registration for the event is free, but I am going to charge any that actually go a handshake and a smile.

And a year supply of chocolate donuts. :D

Hope that more lucid explanation helps everyone.

Kind Regards,
Aoirthoir The CSStivus Bearded Manbear[d]
