Interested in online community, emerging technologies, digital storytelling, or all of the above? You definitely won't want to miss this special Online Community Meetup for a mixed-reality Digital Storytelling Screening and Awards Party.

TechSoup Global, your Meetup host, just finished our third annual Digital Storytelling Challenge (http://tsdigs.org/) (#TSDigs). With 250 submissions from all over the globe, we’re overwhelmed with the talent and stories people shared with us.

Our event will feature a screening of top story submissions with an awards ceremony for the winners! Winners, chosen by a panel of expert judges, will receive product donations (http://forums.techsoup.org/cs/p/tsdigs-2012-prizes.aspx) from our partners.

Dress snazzy if you like, to be red-carpet ready. And be sure to bring along your business cards or your organization's brochures or anything you'd like to share with other nonprofits at the event. This is the time to network!

Can't make the event in person? Here are other ways you can take part.

Participate virtually at the Aloft Nonprofit Commons Drive-in Theatre (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Aloft%20Nonprofit%20Commons/88/54/25)in Second Life. (Watch a step-by-step guide for how to participate in Second Life (http://npsl.wiki.techsoup.org/How+to+Participate+in+SL+Mixed+Reality+Event).)
