The CNC Club is a weekly meeting of Chicago area people passionate about learning, building and using digital fabrication equipment. It is held at the Pumping Station One (http://www.pumpingstationone.org/) Hackerspace. It is open to non members. We also have a Google Group called CNC Build Club. (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/cnc-build-club)
Each week we talk about, build, train on and use CNC machines. We have 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers and vinyl cutters. Come out and join the fun.
This week we will be training on the small CNC router we have. It will start with a basic overview upstairs and then do hands on training in the shop. The upstairs training will be open to all, but the downstairs training will be limited to PS1 members. I can only train and certify about 8 people, so the first 8 PS1 members to signup on this meetup will be trained.
Please RSVP, but don't be concerned about the low RSVP count. Unfortunately most people don't respond, but we usually get between 10 and 30 people per week.
